Ashleyann Perez-Rivera is a Graduate of Roger Williams University in Rhode Island with a B.S. in Historic Preservation and concentration in Sustainability Studies. Ashleyann grew up Worcester, Massachusetts but is originally from Puerto Rico. After participating Hispanic Access Foundation's Latino Heritage Internship Program at the Boston National Historical Park in 2016, Ashleyann completed a fellowship with the Urban Wildlife Conservation program at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in 2017 where she uncovered her love for birds. Currently, she works at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s branch of communications as a Digital Media Ranger and is Chair of Audubon Maryland-DC state board.
